Insecticide is a chemical substance that is used to minimize or remove the impact of undesirable insects like roaches, bugs, mosquitoes in the home or an environment. There are various insecticides on sale, which are of different forms. They come in liquid, the solid (coil) and gaseous states. These insecticides are very efficient in elimination of these undesirable insect from our environment.
Insecticides can reduce the chances of human contracting diseases that are sometimes spread by various insects; examples are mosquito that causes the deadly malaria, tsetse fly brings about sleeping sickness etc. The ultimate goal of insecticides is to remove these dangerous insects from the areas where human being live, work and play.

Owing to the fact that insecticides can eliminate unwanted insects around, man is still the best insecticides. Like the famous quote which says ‘prevention is better than cure’; we can make do with little of these insecticides despite their effectiveness provided we can keep a clean environment. If each an every one of us can make our homes and surrounding clean and minimizing the favourable conditions we will live a healthy and happy sickness free life.
